Ford Territory receives styling update and new technology features

The mid-size SUV gains revised exterior design, improved infotainment system and expanded driver-assist technologies.

Ford has introduced a refreshed version of its Territory SUV to the South African market, featuring updated styling and enhanced technology systems¹². The model builds on the previous version that was launched locally in 2024¹².

The most substantial changes appear at the front of the vehicle, where Ford has installed a revised bonnet, new front grille and trapezoidal bumper, along with L-shaped daytime running lights and compact LED headlamp modules¹². The exterior updates extend to new wheel designs and a redesigned rear bumper¹². Two additional paint colours have been added to the range: Cactus Grey and Oasis Green¹².

Inside, the Territory receives new seats with more supportive headrests and a redesigned 12.3-inch infotainment display¹². Ford stated the updated system offers a more intuitive, user-friendly interface¹². The vehicle now includes Arkamys 3D Audio software for enhanced sound quality¹².

For the first time in the Territory model, Ford has introduced App connectivity, enabling owners to remotely lock or unlock the vehicle, schedule remote start times, monitor vehicle status and receive vehicle health alerts through a smartphone application¹².

The refreshed model also features an expanded suite of driver-assist technologies, including lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist¹².
